Ch ch changes

As you might have guessed, since there haven't been any updates lately, things are changing. Or have changed. I had the bad form to get employed for the next nine months (by Robust Decisions). It'll be fun, but...

We've decided to postphone the trip until next October. This is good, actually. We'll have more time to get the house in shape to rent and figure out where we're going and who we're staying with. Also, October is when it's just starting to get winter-ish here. Better time to leave than March when it's starting to think about spring.

So- We're still going, just on a little different calendar. Now we get to rethink which is the best direction to go to hit most of world in reasonable weather, but not the height of tourist season.

Keep those cards and letters coming, we can use all the advice we can get.

Happy new year and stuff,
-robertw

Passports

We got all our passports updated last month. I recommend you take care of yours before the new US passports with smart RFID cards come out (late in '05, supposedly). It appears they will protect the US from unwelcome intruders, but they won't protect YOU. Rats. Eweek moved the original link, so I found another.
